Woodsman Pro 5/32" O1 tool steel Over all length- 8 3/4" Cutting edge- 3 5/8" Comes with a #9 leather hip sheath The Woodsman Pro in a saber grind lends itself very well for hunting. It has a drop point good for piercing and with its small belly it can also do a little skinning. The Woodsman Pro is a great size with the over all length being 8 3/4" it is a larger knife but not too large to carry on your hip for a long period of time. It is comfortable in the hand when in use with a nice finger guard that allows you to choke up on the knife to avoid slipping. The Woodsman Pro like many of our other knives has a squared off spine that works great as a scraper for a firesteel. This is one of our biggest sellers because it is a great all around knife.

Overall, this knife is pretty "meh" for me. I've had it for a year and a half with a polished brown handle and a saber grind. I love the look, feel, and sheath, but the cutting performance is not there. The blade is way too thick to cut well and too short to baton. If I had this knife in a full flat grind it might be better, but a thinner blade is really the cure I think. The edge was a also a bit sloppy when I got it, but that was an easy fix.

I wanted to buy the Woodsman Pro because of it's unique handle design. Outside of a small pocket knife, I only carry one fixed blade on my outdoor journeys. The problem with so many knives now a days, is that with finger choils and hooked pommels you are forced to use the knife in a forward or downward position.
When you really get into outdoor scenarios you might need your knife to fillet a fish, or whittling and carving tasks. Even skinning is nice with a lateral or upward cuts. The woodsman pro is perfect for a wide variety of tasks because you can rotate the blade in any direction and keeps a consistent and natural feeling in your hand. It is the best one tool option I have so far. (and I have alot of options!)

A timeless classic. Thanks Coppins Family and team at BHK!!! - Joe

I've had mine for about 4 years. My version is a saber grind with Kirinite grips. It's a perfect all around field knife that has been good for me.
I can do anything from bushcraft to fish and game prep. Very good knife happy with this blade.
